6. Don’t open or execute files that you are not 100% sure are absolutely safe nomatter where or how you get them.
7. Wipe your historyfiles (like cookies, internet history and temporary files, etc.), logs and personal files, with specific wiping program (like Eraser) instead of just deleting them.
8. Use encryption to enhance your privacy! Use encrypted email (like Hushmail or Ziplip) and encrypt sensitive files on your computer (PGP).
9. Don’t use public computers for anything you need to type in your logins, they usually have Trojan horses that capture your passwords.

Clean Your RAM:-
You may recognize that ur system gets slower and slower when playing and working a lot with ur pc. That's cause ur RAM is full of remaining progress pieces u do not need any more.
So create a new text file on ur desktop and name it any thing.
Type
FreeMem=Space(64000000)
in this file and save it as RAMcleaner.vbs [ choose the "All Files" option when u save it ]
Run the file and ur RAM may be cleaned :>
Of course u can edit the code in the file for a greater "cleaning-progress".
FreeMem=Space(1280000000)
but dont be greedy in changing the code. and close all windows/save ur work before u do this.

down and look for the following entries:
network.http.pipeliningnetwork.http.proxy.pipeliningnetwork.http.pipelining.maxrequests
Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time.
When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really
speeds up page loading.
2. Alter the entries as follows:
Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This
means it will make 30 requests at once.
3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer.
Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0".
This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.

Here is how to go about it:
1.Firstly open a blank Notepad file.
2. Now write .LOG as the first line in the file, then press enter. Now save the file and close it.
3.Open the notepad file now and you will find that the current date and time has beenappended (put) at the end and the cursor is in the next line.
4. Type your notes and then save and close the file.

Even if you change the setting in the folder options, it will not show the hidden files. So here are the steps to remove that problem and make the hidden files appear as before:-
1) Go to Start –> Run, then type Regedit
2) Navigate to the registry folder HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\
CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHOWALL
3) Find a key called CheckedValue.
4) Double Click CheckedValue key and modify it to 1. This is to show all the hidden files.
Now you should be able to view all the hidden files, and also to alter its status from folder options.
